Erica Taylor

M.A., C. Psych.

Erica Taylor is a Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years of experience in school psychology and mental health. She works with children and teens using a strengths-based approach, helping them better understand how they learn, manage emotions, and navigate challenges at school and at home.

Erica provides comprehensive psycho-educational and social-emotional assessments for children and adolescents with attentional, developmental, behavioural, and learning differences. She also supports parents in accessing school- and community-based services, and offers practical strategies for use at home.

In addition to her assessment work, Erica offers counselling grounded in cognitive-behavioural approaches, with an emphasis on evidence-based practices. She regularly engages in professional development to stay current in her field.

Before founding Taylor Psychology, Erica worked at a local school board’s psychology department, providing counselling, consultation, and assessment services across all grade levels. She also previously served as an Adjunct Clinical Supervisor for the School and Clinical Child Psychology Program at the University of Toronto / OISE.

Erica is registered with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (#6336) and is a member of the Ontario Psychological Association.

At the age of 16, Erica decided that she wanted to become a psychologist. Even after all these years, she still feels like she has her “dream job” helping kids in her community.

In her free time, Erica can often be seen walking her dog, Bandit, and hanging out with her two boys.
